1. Introduction
As a Refer A Friend participant (a “Referrer” / “You”), you are subject to the iDeal Cars Automotive Solutions (“Company” / ”We”) Privacy Policy (available here https://www.idealcarsautomotive.com.au/privacy-policy-statement) as well as the following additional Terms and Conditions for the Companies Refer a Friend Program:
2. Qualified Referral.
A Qualified Referral is defined as a referral from a customer who purchases a vehicle using our companies car buying services or sells a vehicle to the Company. The Referrer is limited to one Qualified Referral for each Referred Customer; in other words, additional/repeat purchases or vehicle sales made by a Referred Customer are not counted as additional Qualified Referrals.
3. Referred Customer.
The Referred Customer and the Referrer cannot be the same person (for example, by using different email addresses). The Referred Customer has to be a new customer who has never purchased from the Company, sold a vehicle to the Company before and who does not have a current, open enquiry with the Company.
4. Referral Rewards.
For you to earn the Referral Reward as a Referrer, the Referred Customer must purchase and take delivery of a vehicle using the Companies car buying service, or sell their vehicle to the Company within 12 months of the Referrer’s original purchase and received car delivery / vehicle sale. The Referred Customer must also present the Referrer name and contact details.
5. Reward Payments.
The reward is a fuel voucher up to the amount of AUD$50 which will be posted out within 7 days from the Referred Customer’s vehicle purchase/sale transaction being finalised. The maximum Qualified Referrals earned per calendar year may not be more than AUD$500. As a Referrer, you are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Referral Rewards
6. Eligibility.
Eligibility is limited to individuals only over the ages of 18. The Refer A Friend program cannot be used by businesses.
7. Right to Close Accounts
We reserve the right to close the account(s) of any Referrer and/or Referred Customer if the Referrer and/or Referred Customer attempts to use the Refer a Friend program in a questionable manner, breaches any of these Terms and Conditions or is in violation of any law, statute or government regulation.
8. Right to Cancel Program or Change Terms
We reserve the right to cancel the Refer A Friend program or to change these Terms and Conditions at any time in our sole discretion. Any unclaimed Referral Rewards will be forfeited at that time..
